Heal Your Body, Mind, & Life with Reiki

Reiki Defined: rei·ki · rākē/ noun: 1. a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient , to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being.

Energy really does abound. Reiki training provides practitioners with a direct connection to that ever-present energy. Through attunements, regular practice, meditation, and facilitating healing, Reiki practitioners can be a clearer path for Reiki energy. Reiki can then be used to bring harmony and balance to the root cause of disease and imbalance as well as relieve physical, mental, emotional and energetic conditions.

Note: Reiki is non-invasive and can work in conjunction with medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

History of Gendai Reiki

Where Buddhist Reiki & Western Reiki Meet

‘Lifted by Light’s’ practitioner—Sharon Richardson—uses Gendai Reiki Ho, which in literal terms, means ‘Modern Spiritual Method’. This lineage of Reiki was born when traditional Buddhist Reiki Masters wanted proliferation of Reiki in the western world.

Structured and honed by ‘Hiroshi Doi’ who is a member in the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai, Gendai Reiki Ho is thought to be the very close to the original Usui Reiki Rhoyo techniques. In this lineage, Hiroshi Doi fuses Western-style Reiki with Usui Sensei’s spiritual perspective and desire for Anshin Ritsumei—a life supported by a peaceful mind—for all people.
